THE HOUSE of The COUTTS, LISLE'S HENERSON'S & TAYLOR'S IN MERTON ST IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND
The house that theTaylors' lived in in the north of England
the house had three floors and a basement
part of the house was also occupied by some of the Lisle family
The Basement was the living rooms of Alfred and Daisy and Alfred painted the stone floor with a pattern to make it look like a carpet because it was too damp to put a real carpet down.
The First Floor was occupied by Margaret Georgina Coutts
The Second Floor was Barbara and Ted Henderson ~(Barbara Lisle that was)
The Third Floor was Jack Lisle and his family
The Taylor family had their bedrooms at the top of the house and used to shout goodnight to the others on their way to bed, goodnight Grandma good night Auntie Barbara Uncle Ted, goodnight Uncle Jack
There were some steps into the house that had a red stain on them and it was said that someone had been murdered on the steps and no matter how many times they were repainted the stain always came back.
